Description:
Camp Fern for Boys is a residential summer camp for children ages 6 to 16. The camp started in 1934 and is nestled in the pine and oak forest on the banks of Lake Fern, near Marshall, Texas. The oldest summer camp in East Texas, Camp Fern has been owned and operated by the same family for three generations. Founded on Christian principles with respect for all faiths.
Computers and video games are left behind as campers immerse themselves in physically and mentally challenging activities ranging from Art to Archery, Fishing to Fencing, and more. Fern places special emphasis on Swimming, English Horseback Riding, and Nature. Camp Fern's mission is to enrich the physical, spiritual and social lives of campers by providing summers of fun, friendship, exploration, and growth.
Camp Fern has four sessions, two four-week sessions each for boys and for girls, a one-week co-ed session, and a two-week co-ed session. For more information, click on our logo to go to our website, or send us an email by click CampRequest above!
