Camp Motorsport is a unique race car driving sports specialty resident summer camp for girls & boys, ages 9-16. At Camp Motorsport, we fuse racing with life-skills development and traditional summer camp activities for an unforgettable experience! Campers participate in hands-on driving instruction and racing education, at a real, live racetrack, as well as enjoy all of the fun activities of a traditional summer camp, such as campfires, fishing, sports, paintball, swimming in the pool…and more!
Campers attend for one-week or two-week sessions, and live on-site at VIRginia International Raceway, nestled on 1300 acres of rolling hills & woods, complete with fishing pond, swimming pool, playing fields, and outdoor fun in the Virginia countryside, near Danville Virginia. Campers live in air-conditioned bunk-style rooms, and meals are served buffet-style, from kid-tested menus. Driving instruction is designed to help your child become a better, safer driver for life, with instruction that rivals the best professional racing schools. No prior driving experience is required to attend. All equipment, meals, & lodging are included in tuition. Safety is our top priority; Camp Motorsport is accredited by the American Camp Association.
